Bridget Mort![]() Bridget purchased this car from Patrick O’Connor in 2003 to replace her much loved but very rusty previous Whizzkid. She loves this car and hopes to see us at future events. |
Susan Brown, Surrey (Club Treasurer)![]() Susan has owned HAMSTER since September 1993, bought for only £250.00 and recently fully restored with a reconditioned engine fitted. Andrew Spence, Northern Ireland![]() Andrew's highly modified car is all his own work. No after market body kit parts have been used anywhere on this vehicle. Modification started soon after he purchased the car in about 1986 in the London area. Features include pop up headlights and height adjustable suspension. At present, Andrew is building another modified Whizzkid with a Mondeo 2 litre engine, front mounted. |
Tim Smith of Surrey (Club Technical expert)![]() Tim owns one of only two Suzuki Fronte Coupe’s in the UK. This one works, the other just sits and festers. Purchased in May 1999, some work was carried out to enable it to be shown at the 1999 Japanese Auto-extravaganza at Billing Aquadrome. The car is taxed (free) and MoT’d, but is not used at present, as a water pump needs to be fitted. Although some further work needs to be carried out on this car, it will be seen at shows over the coming year. |

Samantha Brown (Sam), Surrey![]() Samantha and her boyfriend have owned this car since 1996 (paid far too much for it they say but it was worth it). This Whizzkid has only 6,500 miles on the clock having lived most of its life in a Suzuki showroom and looks as if it has only just come off of the production line. It is one of the pampered few being kept in a forced air CarcoonTM. Consequently, it is not used on the road and only sees the light of day at car shows. |
Sandra and Steve, Glasgow![]() Sandra and Steve have owned this car since 1998, after seeing the Club stand at Billing and falling in love with the cars. After looking at many examples for sale they eventually purchased LEL via the Club from Christchurch on the south coast. Although the car had stood idle for seven years it was in superb condition (about 20,000 miles only). It was towed 500 miles back home and after some minor work and cleaning it was shown at two Club events this year, and is only used in the Summer months. |
