One of the biggest concerns that most people have when running an older car is the availability of spare parts.
For a car which has been out of production for so many years, we have to tell you that the situation is better than most people expect.
For general day to day service items, plugs, points, condensers, distributor caps, filters, gaskets and brake parts, there is absolutely no problem at all. The Club keeps a stock of genuine Suzuki and after market (Japanese made) parts, and delivery can be arranged easily. We also keep a large stock of 2nd hand spares, which are available at very competitive prices.

Some body panels are still available from Suzuki, but front wings are now over £100.00 each, bonnet over £150.00 but complete rear wings are no longer available. Rear wheel arch repair sections are available at £12.50 per side. Bumpers are only available in chrome and cost £70.00 each.
Sill panels. Usually they can be repaired successfully, but both are now available from Suzuki.
Exhaust systems are currently non-existent, but the Club keeps trying to find somebody to help us out. Occasionally a 2nd hand unit becomes available from a scrapped car, and is made available to Club members.
Interior trim. No new parts are available, but usually we can help you out, and if seat trims are only dirty, they can be removed and put through the washing machine (yes really) as can carpets. Torn seats (especially the driver's side) can be repaired with a patch, but we are currently talking to Dutch owners who have the same problem but with left-hand seats instead, and swaps are being considered.
Brake Calipers. Good job they are no longer available as they did cost £400.00 each five years ago. The Club can offer, to members, reconditioned units at around £200.00 a pair (plus £50 deposit back on old pair).
Brake Discs. No longer available from Suzuki, but the Club has found an alternative at £40.00 a pair.
Brake Pipes. Stainless flexihose kit replaces perished old units and improves pedal feel £49.95 + postage
Fuel Tanks. No longer available from Suzuki, but it is possible to have old and leaky units refurbished (with a lifetime guarantee, whatever that is) for about £200.00. Also, we can supply a tank repair kits for small leaks at £56 + postage.
Lighting. Only wing repeaters are available new, but don't worry, as the Club has a large stock of second hand lamps and lenses available in stock.
Glass. All glass available, please contact the Club for prices and delivery.
Radius Arms (Rear Wishbones). The last we heard is that these are still available at £180.00 + vat each from Suzuki. Plating over rusted holes on these (very common) and can be an MoT failure (depending on the testers opinion). A specialist repair is possible and details can be obtained from the Club. Overhauled Radius Arms Available for Rear – Exchange only at £100.00 each
Front to Rear Coolant Hoses. Still available from Suzuki at about £130.00 each. The Club can supply an alternative at the princely sum of £15.00 each.
Steering Rack. Never available as a complete unit from Suzuki. Overhaul parts are scarce. The Club can supply fully rebuilt racks for around £95.00.
Fan Switch. New recommended genuine units available.
Temperature Transmitter. New recommended genuine units available
Carb Kit. New recommended genuine units available
Suspension Bushes. New recommended genuine units available. Uprated supaflex units coming soon.
